Our most urgent and desperate desire after our daughter died was to preserve as many keepsakes and memories of her as possible during the very brief time we had together.
The time window for collecting these priceless keepsakes is short—many families only have a few hours with their baby. It is an urgent situation. Parents do not have the time or the mental capacity to even think of what to gather to create these mementos.
CARRY YOU was born from this experience, and the first thing we did was create our Infant Keepsake Kits. Made with love and ready on a moment’s notice, this box is carefully curated—packed with things we either had and loved or wished we had when our precious Lexi was born. Our purpose is to meet families in the moment of crisis and provide them with the tools necessary to fill that immediate need of preserving their connection to their baby in a tangible manner. These items will be cherished for the rest of their life and serve as their only physical link to the child they love so dearly.

One of our most cherished possessions is the plush blanket that a kind nurse placed under our daughter to line her cooling cot. It was near Lexi for two days, and now it permanently resides on our bed. When parents’ arms ache to hold their baby, the best they will get in this life is to snuggle something soft that was once near their precious child.

A meaningful gift that our family received was matching jewelry for all of us. Our sweet Lexi was buried with hers and now we wear ours every day to match her. An infinity symbol was selected because the love and bond between a parent and their baby reaches even beyond death into eternity. If desired, the sterling silver charm could easily be cut off the white cord and added to a necklace or otherwise repurposed.
